There are 17,168 properties currently listed for sale on the Multiple listing Service (MLS) in Metro Vancouver. This is up 19.8% compared to July 2024 and 40.2% above the 10-year seasonal average.
The latest market figures for July are confirming an emerging trend of sales activity in the region turning a corner, said Greater Vancouver Realtors’ director of economics and data analytics Andrew Lis in a recent report. The Bank of Canada’s decision to hold its policy rate steady at 2.75% in July, could also increase sales activity by providing certainty surrounding borrowing costs, said Lis.
